Date Drop Cookies

1/4 c Butter
3/4 c Brown sugar
1 ts Vanilla
1 Egg -- well beaten
1 1/4 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Soda
1/4 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1/8 ts Nutmeg
1/2 c Sour cream
2/3 c Chopped dates
1/2 c Nutmeats

Mix all ingredients. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
