Date Cookies

1 c Butter
2 Eggs
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 lb Dates
1 1/2 c Sugar
2 3/4 c Flour
1 pn Salt
1 c Milk
1 c Nuts

Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one by one and beat well.

Sift the dry ingredients together and add alternately with the milk to the first mixture.

Lastly add the dates and nuts. Drop teaspoonfuls of this mixture into a well greased pan, spacing well.

Bake for 20 minutes in a hot oven.
