Monkey Cookies

2 1/4 c All-purpose flour;
2 ts Baking powder;
1/4 ts Salt;
1 c Sugar;
2/3 c Butter -=OR=- 2/3 c Margarine; softened
2 Eggs;
2 Bananas; mashed
1 ts Vanilla;

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well. Add butter or margarine. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake in a preheat, 400-degree oven 12 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen.
