Apricot Butter Cookies 4 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Dried apricots
2 1/4 c Sugar; divided
1 2/3 c Butter; or margarine, softnd
2 lg Eggs
1/3 c Milk
2 tb Orange flavored liqueur
1 1/2 c Walnuts; chopped
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease 2 cookie sheets. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in bowl. Pulse apricots adn 1/4 cup sugar in food processor until chopped fine. Set aside. Beat butter and remaining 2 cups sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, milk, and liqueur; beat until smooth. Stir in flour mixture, then apricots and nuts.
