Frosted Cutout Sugar Cookies

2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Frosting:
Confectioners sugar
Milk
Dab butter
Dab cream cheese

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add liquid ingredients. Mix until it holds together. Chill overnight. Roll out dough 1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes. Bake 8 minutes at 375 degrees. Frost when cool.
