Best Sugar Cookies

1 c. oleo
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
3 tbsp. cream
3 c. flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream together oleo, sugar and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients and beat. Chill dough. Roll to 1/2 inch thick on floured board. Cut out. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 10 minutes at 300 to 325 degrees.
