Banana Chocolate Drop Cookies

2 1/4 c Flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
2/3 c Shortening -- softened
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 t Vanilla
1 pk Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c Bananas -- mashed; abt 3

Sift dry ingredients together. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, chocolate (melted), bananas and flour mixture. Mix thoroughly. Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes on ungreased cookie sheets.
