Spritz Cookie Mix

3 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Baking powder
1 1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 c Sugar
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Almond extract, optional

Stir together flour and baking powder. In large bowl, beat butter or margarine for 30 seconds. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract, if desired; beat well. Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture and beat until combined. Do not chill. Force the dough through a cookie press onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate pressed cookies, if desired. Bake in 400 degree oven for 7 to 8 minutes or until cookies are done. Remove cookies to a wire rack; cool.
