Walnut Fudge Drop Cookies 1/2 c Butter or margarine
3 oz Unsweetened chocolate squares
2 Eggs
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 1/4 c Flour
3/4 ts Baking soda
1 c Chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 large cookie sheets. In small
saucepan melt butter or margarine and chocolate; cool. In large mixer
bowl beat eggs and salt until foamy, beat in sugar and vanilla until
thick and light in color. Add cooled chocolate mixture and beat well.
Combine flour and baking soda and add to batter. Do not overbeat.
Fold in chopped nuts. Drop by level teaspoon about 3 inches apart
onto cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes.
