Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 c Margarine,softened
3/4 c Brown sugar
3/4 c Sugar
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Flour
1 c Quick cooking oats
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cinnamon
1 c Cooked or canned pumpkin
1 1/2 c Semisweet chocolate chips

In a mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, and cinnamon; stir into creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-13 minutes or until lightly browned. Yield: 4 dozen.
