Meltaway Christmas Cookies 1 c Flour; sifted
1 c Cornstarch
1 c Butter; softened
1/2 c Powdered sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
Powdered sugar
Sift flour and cornstarch together and set aside. In large bowl cream
butter gradually, beating in sugar. Mix well. Add salt and vanilla.
Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Refrigerate 2 or 3 hours.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Shape dough into small balls, place 2
inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes. While
