Apies Cookies

1 c Butter
1 1/2 c Sugar
2 Eggs
5 tb Water
1/2 ts Cream of tartar
4 1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking soda

Mix all ingredients well. Chill dough. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
