Peppermint Cookies

1 1/2 c Sugar
2 c Cream
2 Eggs
3 ts Baking Ammonia
1 ts Baking Powder
2 ts Peppermint extract
Flour to make a soft dough

Beat together sugar, cream and eggs Dissolve ammonia in a tablespoon of hot water and add to first mixture. Sift in flour and baking powder. Add peppermint flavoring. Roll out on floured surface to 1/4" thickness. Cut with cookie cutter. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cookies should remain white.
