Honey Nut Cookies

1 c Butter
1 c Honey
1 c Sugar
1 Egg
3 c Flour
2 ts Baking powder
2 ts Ground ginger
1/2 ts Vanilla
1 1/2 c Peanuts or pecans; coarsely chopped

Preheat oven to 375~. Grease baking sheets. In a lg. bowl, cream butter; beat in honey, sugar, and egg. Stir in flour, baking powder, and ground ginger; mix thoroughly. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by tspnful onto prepared baking sheets; and bake about 10 to 12 mins.
